Shepherd of the Hills has two singing groups that provide regular music at our worship services:
This choir leads the traditional service (at 10:30 a.m. September-April and every other week in the summer) in liturgy and song. The choir meets for rehearsal on Wednesday evenings from 7:30 to 9 p.m. in the sanctuary, however, practice time changes during the Lenten season. The choir sings a wide variety of music ranging from traditional to contemporary and from accompanied to a cappella. Each year, the Chancel Choir presents a special Christmas service called the “Festival of Lessons and Carols.” This service is steeped in tradition as it has been presented by the choir for more than 25 years.
