PT CO-DIRECTOR OF MUSIC JOB OPENING (20 HRS/MONTH)

Greetings from Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church of Edina:

We currently have a job opening for a co-director of music. We are looking for a musician proficient in piano and organ. The ideal candidate will be able to work approximately every other week leading a Wed rehearsal for the choir (5:30-6:30pm) and a Sunday rehearsal followed by worship (8:30-10:30am). 

The total time for this position is approximately 20 hours p/month. You will be responsible for choosing, rehearsing, and leading music. The responsibility to occasionally lead a bell choir, children's choir, or youth choir will be shared among the co-directors. 

We are specifically looking for someone who enjoys playing the organ, leading/directing choral and anthem music, and is a team player with excellent people skills. Preference will be given to candidates with experience working in congregations.
